Our History

The journey of My Tribe Women of Purpose Network began in 2018, rooted in lived experience, resilience, and a deep desire to create meaningful change.

Our founder, a single mother from an ethnic minority background, faced significant socio-economic challenges and barriers to opportunity. Determined to create a better future for herself and her daughter, she took a bold step into entrepreneurship, driven by hope, faith, and the desire to break cycles of limitation.

However, without access to mentorship, business guidance, or a supportive network, the venture ultimately struggled and led to financial difficulty. It was a deeply challenging season that required years of perseverance, rebuilding, and faith to overcome.

Through this experience came a powerful revelation: this story is not isolated. Many women—particularly ethnic minority women and single mothers—continue to face similar barriers, including limited access to resources, lack of guidance, and systemic inequality that can make ambition feel out of reach.

From this place of lived experience, reflection, and resilience, My Tribe Women of Purpose Network was born.

Today, our vision is to build a thriving, supportive community that empowers women through entrepreneurship, leadership development, and personal growth, grounded in Christian values of service, stewardship and personal development. We provide coaching, mentorship, skills development, training programmes, and transformational events designed to build confidence, unlock potential, and create lasting, positive impact in life, work, and business.
